first,there isnt any term as 'patented law'....atleast not to my knwoledge.second, i do not care if it applies to anybody else....but anybody can apply it at his/her discretion.

There is a HUGE difference between 'a patent law' and 'patented law'.grammatical errors do matter!
U r an over analyst! Now plzz dont say that such a word doesnot exist in Thesaurus!! :P
